2.Introductions to Scenic Spots Listed in the Itinerary:
• Elephant Trunk Hill: Guilin’s symbol, shaped like an elephant drinking water. With Shuiyue Cave running through the hill, it offers a view of mountains and rivers reflecting each other.
• Shuiyue Cave: A natural limestone cave in Elephant Trunk Hill. Semi-circular in shape, with the river flowing through it; under moonlight, it looks like “the moon reflecting in water”.
• Jingjiang Prince’s Mansion: A well-preserved Ming Dynasty princely mansion. It houses mansion buildings and an ancient imperial examination hall (Gongyuan), and you can climb Solitary Beauty Peak to overlook the city.
• Zhengyang Pedestrian Street: A downtown commercial street in Guilin, with specialty shops, food stores, and places to buy Guilin specialties.
• Xiaoyao Tower: A historic tower dating back to the Tang Dynasty (now reconstructed). Climb it to overlook the Lijiang River and the scenery of the old city.
• East-West Lane: An ancient lane from the Ming and Qing dynasties, with grey bricks and tiles. It has intangible cultural heritage shops and teahouses for experiencing traditional culture.
• Xingping Ancient Town: An ancient town along the Lijiang River, with Ming and Qing-era old streets. It is the filming location for the background of the 20-yuan RMB note.
• Yangshuo West Street: A commercial street in Yangshuo, blending Chinese and Western cultures. Lively at night, it’s great for experiencing a relaxing atmosphere.
• Duxiu Peak:Climbing to the top of Duxiu Peak allows you to enjoy a 360° panoramic view of downtown Guilin, taking in the scenery of the Lijiang River winding like a ribbon and the green mountains stretching into the distance.

Gather at the hotel at 8:00 a.m. and depart. Take a bus to Zhujiang Wharf, then take a cruise ship to Yangshuo. The cruise tour lasts 3.5 hours (a simple meal is provided on the ship).Upon arrival, go to Xingping Ancient Town and stay for 1.5 hours to wander around the old streets and visit the filming location of the background on the 20-yuan RMB note.After that, head to Yangshuo West Street and stay for 2 hours to explore the characteristic street and experience the style of Yangshuo. End the day's itinerary and return to the hotel .
Depart from the hotel at 8:00 a.m. and take a vehicle to Prince Jingjiang Mansion. Stay for 2.5 hours to visit the ruins of the Ming Dynasty royal mansion, learn about Guilin’s history and culture, and explore the ancient architecture and cultural relics within the mansion. While in the Prince Jingjiang Mansion scenic area, climb Duxiu Peak—reach the top to overlook the panoramic view of Guilin’s urban area, take photos of the city skyline, and experience the viewing advantage of the "No.1 Peak of Guilin" in a short time.After that, head to Zhengyang Pedestrian Street and stay for 1.5 hours to experience the commercial vitality and local vibe of downtown Guilin.Once finished, go to East-West Alley and stay for 1 hour to immerse yourself in the historical atmosphere of Guilin’s old town.When the visit to the alley ends, walk to Xiaoyao Pavilion and stay for 0.5 hours. Climb the pavilion to overlook the panoramic view of the old town’s streets, take photos of the ancient buildings under the afternoon light, and feel the artistic conception of the line "From the pavilion, one sees the moon over a thousand houses; through the windows, one gazes at mountains stretching for ten thousand miles".Afterward, travel to Guilin’s landmark—Elephant Trunk Hill & Shuiyue Cave, and tour there for 1.5 hours to experience the classic scenery of "Elephant Hill and Moon in Water" up close.Finally, return to the hotel.
