Tiananmen Square: The core landmark of Beijing, China’s capital, is the largest urban square in the world and bears significant historical and political significance.
The Palace Museum: The imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties, now the world’s largest museum of ancient palace architecture, with a huge collection of precious cultural relics.
Badaling Great Wall: One of the best-preserved and most representative sections of the Ming Dynasty Great Wall, it is a vital pass of the Ten-Thousand-Li Great Wall, famous for its magnificent and precipitous scenery and profound historical heritage.
Temple of Heaven : A royal altar where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties worshiped heaven and prayed for good harvests, and it is the largest existing ancient ritual architecture complex in China.
The Summer Palace: China’s best-preserved imperial garden, combining the beauty of Jiangnan gardens and northern landscapes, known as the “Imperial Garden Museum”.
The Terracotta Army: Located in Xi’an, it is the burial pit of Qin Shi Huang’s mausoleum. The unearthed pottery army formation is grand, known as the “Eighth Wonder of the World”.
Huaqing Palace (Xi’an): A royal garden of the Tang Dynasty, famous for its hot spring pools, and it is also an important site of the “Xi’an Incident”.
Small Wild Goose Pagoda (Xi’an): A famous Buddhist pagoda of the Tang Dynasty. Its body has withstood many earthquakes but “cracked without collapsing”, and it is one of the earliest existing Tang Dynasty buildings in Xi’an.
Datang Everbright City: A pedestrian street themed on Tang Dynasty culture in Xi’an, with bright lights at night, integrating performances and commerce to recreate the prosperity of the Tang Dynasty.
Yuyuan Garden: A classic Jiangnan-style classical garden in Shanghai, famous for its exquisite pavilions, rockeries and ponds, with many Ming and Qing dynasty buildings and historical relics hidden in the garden.
City God Temple (Shanghai): A Taoist temple adjacent to Yuyuan Garden, surrounded by Shanghai-style snacks and traditional handicraft shops, the core place to experience old Shanghai folk customs.
Nanjing Road (Shanghai): Shanghai’s iconic commercial pedestrian street, gathering well-known domestic and foreign brands and time-honored stores, with shopping, catering and sightseeing functions.
The Bund (Shanghai): A waterfront area along the Huangpu River in Shanghai, with dozens of modern Western-style buildings of different styles, a must-visit place to enjoy Shanghai’s skyline and night view.
