Tiananmen Square: The core landmark of Beijing, China’s capital, is the largest urban square in the world and bears significant historical and political significance.
The Palace Museum: The imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties, now the world’s largest museum of ancient palace architecture, with a huge collection of precious cultural relics.
Badaling Great Wall: One of the best-preserved and most representative sections of the Ming Dynasty Great Wall, it is a vital pass of the Ten-Thousand-Li Great Wall, famous for its magnificent and precipitous scenery and profound historical heritage.
Temple of Heaven : A royal altar where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties worshiped heaven and prayed for good harvests, and it is the largest existing ancient ritual architecture complex in China.
The Summer Palace: China’s best-preserved imperial garden, combining the beauty of Jiangnan gardens and northern landscapes, known as the “Imperial Garden Museum”.
Yuyuan Garden: A classic Jiangnan-style classical garden in Shanghai, famous for its exquisite pavilions, rockeries and ponds, with many Ming and Qing dynasty buildings and historical relics hidden in the garden.
City God Temple (Shanghai): A Taoist temple adjacent to Yuyuan Garden, surrounded by Shanghai-style snacks and traditional handicraft shops, the core place to experience old Shanghai folk customs.
Nanjing Road (Shanghai): Shanghai’s iconic commercial pedestrian street, gathering well-known domestic and foreign brands and time-honored stores, with shopping, catering and sightseeing functions.
The Bund (Shanghai): A waterfront area along the Huangpu River in Shanghai, with dozens of modern Western-style buildings of different styles, a must-visit place to enjoy Shanghai’s skyline and night view.
Shanghai’s “Three Giants” (Shanghai Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center and Jin Mao Tower): Three super high-rise landmark buildings in Shanghai Lujiazui Financial and Trade Zone, famous for being China’s tallest building at 632 meters, the unique “bottle opener” shape and the classic “pagoda” design respectively, jointly forming Shanghai’s iconic skyline.
Shaolin Temple: Founded by Emperor Xiaowen of the Northern Wei Dynasty to accommodate the Indian monk Batuo, it is a world-renowned “cradle of Chan Buddhism” and “the first famous temple under heaven”.
Longmen Grottoes: Located in Luoyang, Henan, they are the largest remaining imperial grotto temple relics in China and recognized by UNESCO as “the peak of Chinese stone carving art”.
Peony Garden: A specialized garden mainly for peony viewing, usually open in April each year during the peony blooming season, with a great variety of peony species and gorgeous flower colors.
Heaven and Bright Hall of Sui-Tang Luoyang City: Located in the National Heritage Park of Sui-Tang Luoyang City, Luoyang. The Heaven was the imperial Buddhist worship hall for Wu Zetian, and the Bright Hall was the largest wooden building in the world in terms of volume. Both are iconic structures of Wu Zetian’s reign.
Lijing Gate: The west gate of the old city area of Luoyang, first built in the Sui Dynasty. As the western entrance to the ancient Luoyang city, it is known as “the First Gate of the Central Plains”.
Luoyi Ancient City: Located in the old city area of Luoyang, it is built based on historical relics such as the Xintan Wharf of the Tang Dynasty and the Wenfeng Pagoda of the Song Dynasty. It is a national AAAA-level scenic spot showcasing the style of the ancient capital Luoyang.
Lijing Gate Old Street: A historical and cultural street with Ming and Qing architectural styles in the old city area of Luoyang. Lined with shops on both sides, it allows visitors to taste Luoyang’s specialty foods and experience the charm of the ancient capital.
