2.Introductions to Scenic Spots Listed in the Itinerary:
• Terracotta Army: A burial pit of Emperor Qin Shi Huang’s mausoleum, known as the “Eighth Wonder of the World”. It houses over 8,000 terracotta figures, recreating the military formation of the Qin Dynasty.
• Datang Ever-Bright City: A Tang Dynasty-style pedestrian street near the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda. It features Tang cultural buildings, performances and food, and is a core spot for night tours.
• Giant Wild Goose Pagoda: A 7-story brick pagoda built by Xuanzang in Daci’en Temple. It stores classics and has line-carved Buddha statues; visitors can climb it for a panoramic view.
• Xi’an Ancient City Wall: China’s largest and best-preserved ancient city wall, with a circumference of 13.7 km. Visitors can cycle on it to enjoy the scenery.
• Shadow Puppetry at Gaojia Courtyard: A quadrangle courtyard on Huimin Street. Visitors can watch traditional shadow puppetry shows and experience intangible cultural heritage.
• Huimin Street: A food street in Xi’an, home to mosques and authentic flavors like roujiamo (pork burger) and yangrou paomo (lamb soup with flatbread).
• Famen Temple: Known as the “ancestor of temples in Guanzhong”. It is famous for housing Sakyamuni’s finger relic and preserves many Tang Dynasty treasures.
• Qianling Mausoleum: The joint mausoleum of Emperor Gaozong Li Zhi and Empress Wu Zetian. It is the only undisturbed tomb among the 18 Tang Dynasty mausoleums, featuring the Wordless Stele and more.
• Huashan Mountain: One of China’s Five Great Mountains, renowned for its “grandness and danger”. It has five peaks, Taoist relics and numerous cliff carvings.
• Xi’an City Wall Academy Culture Festival: A cultural event held on the ancient city wall, including ancient book exhibitions and traditional craft experiences.

Gather at the hotel at 08:00 and depart by bus to the Terracotta Army Museum (stay for 3 hours). After the visit, proceed to the small terracotta figure making experience (stay for 1.5 hours, make simple terracotta figures by hand). Once the experience ends, head to Datang Ever-Bright City (stay for 2 hours, wander the Tang Dynasty-style blocks and watch daytime performances).
